I’ve been a soccer fan for over 20 years — not a coach, not a journalist, just someone who’s watched the game closely for two decades.

Somewhere along the way, I kept running into the same problem: most tactical analysis online is either too shallow to actually explain anything, or too dense to enjoy unless you already have a coaching badge. I wanted something in between — real analysis, explained clearly, without losing what makes tactics genuinely interesting.

So I started FoxNest. Every breakdown here is my own read on a match — how a shape shifted, why a press worked or didn’t, what a manager was actually trying to do. No stat dumps for their own sake, no hot takes for clicks. Just the game, looked at closely.

Currently covering the EPL, La Liga, and Serie A, with more leagues planned as this grows.
